Here is my take on a fantastic avocado sauce pasta recipe I found here. Avocado and Matcha are great together.
My older daughter is not big on avocado but she seriously needs some good oil in her system and been recommended to eat more avocado to help her dry skin.
We made this together with the #Thermocook machine and within 20 minutes, we had a beautiful dinner and everyone enjoyed it, including Miss Little-dry-skin ;)
- 2 avocado*
- 1-2 tablespoon of olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 twigs of fresh basil
- 1 heap tablespoon Miso paste
- about half a bag of Spaghetti
- some chicken strips, pan-fried with a little bit of oil
- a handful of cherry tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Organic Matcha
To make the avocado sauce, combine avocados, basil, garlic and miso paste in the #Thermocook.
Use the smoothie setting, whiz 10 seconds, then add oil, whiz until smooth.
Cook pasta as per packet's instructions. Drain and place into a large bowl.
Combine pasta, matcha and avocado sauce - mix well. Then add cookie chicken and cherry tomatoes. Ready to serve!
