Awesome Tea for Awesome Start

DRINK A WINNING TEA, START THE DAY SAYING, “I AM AWESOME!” AND DON’T FORGET THAT!
My friend Joe loves heavy metal music.
Every morning for an hour on his drive to work, he listens to Metallica, Tool and the like.
He seems like a very loving father and overall a very even temper person to me, so I asked him how come he likes to listen to heavy metal, particularly during the morning.
"It wakes me up! It jolts my system so I don't need to drink coffee to do the same! Save me coffee money, haha!"
I am all for setting up the tone for the day, and I also have a ritual.
  1. I get up and drink a cup of warm water.
  2. I put some leaf tea in a pot and pour in hot water.
  3. While the tea is steeping, I do my human helicopter (swivelling my arms and body around) for about 5 minutes.
  4. At least 3 deep breaths in and out slowly.
  5. Switch on my favourite podcasts - I love 10% Happier and Oprah's Super Soul Sunday.
  6. Time to pour out the tea, have a good drink of it.
  7. Start making breakfast

I tell my friends this ritual and they often express some kinds of admiration mixed with baffling look, like this is cool, but gee, isn't that a bit early of the day to "work on my mindset"? I just got up!

To that, I reply, "We always go on about eating a healthy breakfast to start the day with good nutrients. What about our minds? Shouldn't we start the day with good mental breakfast too?"

So if I want an awesome start of the day, I would drink a tea that express that calm power expressing "I am Awesome".

Simple as that.
