Yerba Mate (pronounced "yerba mahtay") is a medicinal and cultural drink of ancient origin.

Introduced to the world by the Guarani Indians of South America and grown mainly in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Brazil. Yerba Mate has the following traditional efficacies:
    • increase mental alertness
    • aids weight management by decreasing the hunger craving
    • boosts immune system
    • cleanses the colon
    • diuretic and encourages perspiration
    • aids with allergies such as hayfever.

Unlike most herbal infusions Yerba Mate contains caffeine. Check out more info from Wikipedia.

BREWING: We recommend a safer and less potent-tasting approach in brewing this tea: 1 teaspoon / 3g per cup. Pour in boiling water and let it sit for 2-3 minutes. You can also make it with cold water or orange / pineapple juice.
INGREDIENTS: (Yerba) Mate from USDA certified organic plantation
    ORIGIN: Argentina
