Our Genmaicha is a mix of Bancha green tea with roasted rice and little popcorn pieces. It is popular amongst sushi lovers and often served in Japanese restaurants.
Genmaicha has a rustic kind of roasty taste – comforting as an after meal tea.
- 1 teaspoon / 3g of tea per cup. Pour in slightly cooled boiled water. Steep for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Boiling water will burn the leaf and cause bitterness! Green tea tastes the best without overbrewing.
