Matcha is touted as one of the nutritious powerhouse in the world of tea. It is actual tea leaves grounded to fine powder so it does have high caffeine content.
Typically used in traditional Japanese tea ceremony, but it is also fantastic for making shakes and cookies! Yummy and good for you! This tea is great to study with.
Makes 1 cup
- 1 tsp Matcha tea powder
- 1 teaspoon sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 hot milk
- Mix all ingredients, stir well.
- Ready to enjoy.
*Matcha Latte – Same recipe as above but use more milk – froth it up with an egg whisk.
