Celery seeds
The use of celery seed in pills for relieving pain was described by Aulus Cornelius Celsus ca. 30 AD.

During ancient times Indian Ayurvedic medicine used celery seed to treat colds flu water retention poor digestion various types of arthritis and certain diseases of the liver and spleen.

Today celery seed is used primarily in alternative medicine as a diuretic (increasing urine output to help the body get rid of excess water). Celery seed is also suggested for treating arthritis and gout and to help reduce muscle spasms joint complaints calm the nerves and reduce inflammation.

It is recommended against using celery seeds during pregnancy.


Ingredients: Celery seeds (Apium graveolens)

A teaspoon / 3g per cup. Pour in boiling water and let it sit for 1-2 minutes.
